The Shop Around the Corner

You've Got Mail is loosely based on this classic black and white Jimmy Stewart movie. In the film two coworkers at a local retail shop detest each other but live for their moments with their dreamy mystery pen pals. The two coworkers are writing to each other and don't even know it. They can't stand each other in real life on the job but love each other in letters. Eventually the male character figures out that his destested female coworker is his dreamy pen pal and tries to romance her from there.
