Saved by the Bell the College
Years was an attempt to bring the primary Saved
by the Bell cast into a College environment so
that the show could continue. Was anyone really
closelly watching the chronology of the show?
Keep them in Bayside 10 years if necessary. But
instead of keeping the shows theme. The writers
and creative staff, chose to lose the Max, lose
Bayside and attempt to do the best they could
without the crucial characters of Lisa, and
Jessie and move everyone to College.. At first
Kelly was going to be absent from the series but
she decided to say and was worked in. The show
focuses on Zack's romantic interests, his
headbutting with clever professors, and his
roommates, Slater, and Screech.
Memorable episodes include the one where Zack
and Slater try to join a fraternity but back out
because the fraternity won't take Screech. In
addition nerdy Screech is once called upon to
help write the autobiograph of Mike Rogers the
oldest athelete at college.
The College Years lasted only one season but
ran in a prime time spot. The show had a new
theme song and in many ways was more serious than
the previous Bayside episodes were, as they were
more just plain fun.
