This dress uniform featured below and
its patch styles were utilized in scenes such as this one
in which two Russian troops in dress uniforms are
discussing an arrow they found which one of them assumes
may be an ancient Indian artifact crafted of fine bone.
In Red Dawn Russian troops fight along side Cuban and
Nicaraguan troops. Many of the soldiers in the film had
generic looking camoflauge costumes. The more deluxe
Russian dress type uniforms really stand out and are a
unique collectible item reminiscent of the Cold War. The Uniform featured below was constructed from modifed German military surplus. Both of the shoulder tops feature "CA" a Russian acronymn. The side of one arm features a marksman related badge and the front of the uniform top has gold stars. The shoulder tops and patch were custom made for the film. |
